Looks like people are already complaining about "Cloverfield" being "insensitive" in a post 9/11 world (with NY buildings being blown up and debris everywhere).

I can see if they mock it or something like that (it being insensitive)..but...so far i'm not getting that. (I didn't read the whole article on it because I fear there's some big spoilers in it). So.. something bad happens in a town and we can only have sappy love stories there now? and how does some..monster..thing...or whatever.. have anything to do with terrorists?

I don't remember 9/11 having large monstrous beasts roaming the streets of NY, but maybe I'm wrong.
