First off, Knife Rush, Relly, Me, Dan, anyone, is welcomed to post their thoughts and feelings around here...regardless of whether admins agree with them or not. This place belongs to each of us equally and we each have the same platform upon which to voice our opinions. I would hope that no one thought anyone here (admin or otherwise) was going to take any steps to silence or punish them for their thoughts. Let me speak from my experiences traveling this great land of ours quite extensively. I'm not saying I know more or less than anyone, all I'm saying is I've seen a lot of different cultures, cities, peoples, languages, opinions, ect ,ect in my years and that I have formulated an opinion of my own that has, over the years, proven to be 100% accurate.

It is: No matter what you think due to where you live or grew up, reasonable, intelligent, educated, well to do, happy, motivated and friendly people do not use iterations of the N-bomb...ever. Black, Hispanic, White, Asian, ect, ect...I know all kinds of people from all walks of life and by and large all of them that are successful people (both professionally and emotionally) do not speak in such slangs.

Now, that is not to say that's how the internet, our game servers or our site is going to be. Shit, I'm a realist too people. But what I will tell you is that the kind of persons you want to associate yourself with, the kinds of people that you want dating your sister or daughter, do not speak in such ways. They are more than capable to communicate without using such terms that only make them look uninformed, uneducated, uncaring of others feelings or simply just stupid. And I like to think that that is the kind of people we are ALL when we're hanging out together here at SR or on the servers.

You're more than free to be who you want to be at home, ect...but when we're all here, we have a responsibility to one another to be respectful in a reasonably mature sense when it comes to issues such as race, gender, sexual orientation or whatever. You guys think I'm this way all the time? Shit no, but I respect all of you enough and want you to feel comfortable around me so I 'flip my switch' and avoid saying anything that, among my friends who understand I'm not trying to be hurtful, could be construed as hateful or insensitive.

So this topic is valid, and all of your ideas on the matter are always taken into consideration. We are, after all, quite a melting pot of our own here at SR and I never want that to change. I just hope that some of you can listen to a few of us that have been around the block when we say that in the real world, the one you're all working on becoming a constructive, positive force in, people do not communicate in the ways you think they do. Not everyone speaks like a millionaire rapper or an athlete with a Nike deal. Although we're all exposed to that in all forms of media, the world is not like that.
